The 2025 festival ran from 3–13 July, weaving together world-class classical, jazz, folk, theatre, film, and community events across iconic venues.
Program Highlights
Over 50 events encompassing performances in genres from opera to folk.
Flagship experiences included “Wild Arts”, Changeling Theatre, Chaps Choir, and jazz collaborators Tomorrow’s Warriors, alongside festival President, soprano Lucy Crowe, and folk duo Spiers & Boden.
Family and immersive favourites like Submerged (a dance/music piece in Deal Castle’s basement), Human Croquet by Pirie Poke, workshops inspired by Julia Donaldson’s The Smeds and the Smoos, and the architectural walk Hiding in Plain Sight.
